Thank you @thepatrickduval and @broken_radio_dp having me be a part of this project.
This sculptural painting of Achilles took over 70 hours to create. I began with a sketch, then sculpted the piece in layers—building, refining, and sanding by hand until the form felt complete. I finished it in white to reference classical Greek sculpture and sealed my signature in wax as the final mark.
I grew up loving Greek mythology and ancient history, and I’ve always been drawn to art that demands time, patience, and attention to detail—especially in contrast to how quickly things are made today with consumerism.
Achilles represents strength and vulnerability at once: nearly invincible, yet deeply human. His story has endured for thousands of years, and this piece is my way of honoring slow creation, classical form, and timeless myth.
After a year, this piece is sold! Being my most valuable painting. 🖼️ Thank you 🙏
