Panimation Berlin invites FLINTA* animators and aspiring animators to a casual afternoon of exchanging feedback on each other’s animation, motion design and illustration work!
Bring your portfolio on your laptop or tablet (or if you don’t have one send us a link or file) if you’d like to show it to others and get their perspective!
It can be a full portfolio, a half-finished portfolio or just a reel! There will be different stations with two or three people for a no-pressure exchange.

Remember the Havelhohenweg hike we did last November? 🍁🍂🍄
Well, we’re going on another outing together on Sunday, November 9th, to see Germany’s biggest pumpkin exhibition at @spargelhof_klaistow ! 🎃
This year’s theme is Power Women, and many of the pumpkin sculptures are animated characters, which makes it an extra fun fit for us. (Having some non-cis characters too would’ve made it perfect!)
You’re welcome to bring new Panimators and FLINTA* friends along!
Let’s supercharge those Herbstfreude vibes (and make it easy to spot each other) by wearing bright autumn colours.
Don’t forget your sketchbook so we can capture the moment! ✏️🍂

Phew, what a lot of drawings! This is the last set of over sixty illustrations making up our animated walking characters, inspired by Berlin. It’s amazing that so many artists set aside their time to contemplate what it means to be a Berliner and make their style fit into a walking pose. The artists who drew a walking character as part of our collaboration, Walk Berlin, are a perceptive bunch. You can tell from this next sequence of illustrations that they drew from their personal, quiet observations of who has made Berlin their home – it’s really cool when you encounter someone unexpected, who experiences Berlin from a different angle than you (perhaps from ground level)!
