Every journey needs voices that believe in it.
Today, we welcome @olivia_ambani as Pambo Letu’s first official brand ambassador. A singer-songwriter and marketing consultant, Olivia has walked alongside us, shaping ideas, offering clarity, and believing deeply in what Pambo Letu stands for.
Her commitment to championing African creatives and innovators mirrors our own mission: to build fashion that honors craft, creates impact, and strengthens community.
As we move forward, Olivia represents the spirit of Pambo Letu, intentional, creative, and rooted in purpose.
Welcome to the Pambo Letu family, Olivia!

TBT to the moments behind the magic ✨
From styling sessions with @wangariii , creative conversations with @olivia_ambani and bringing the vision to life to the laughter and fun in between with @ray.linnet , this was the energy behind MSETO.
The challenges, the lessons, the growth, and the beautiful moments that shaped the journey. Sometimes, the best part of the process is everything that happens behind the scenes!. 🤍
Thank you @telvic_glam for putting the reel together and the glam was just excellent!

Happy Mother’s Day to the incredible women we celebrate today. 🤍
Today, we honour the strength, resilience, creativity, and love that mothers and women pour into their families and work every single day.
At Pambo Letu, we are constantly inspired by the women behind the craft, the mothers, daughters, aunties, and guardians whose hands and stories are woven into every piece we create.
Thank you for your sacrifices, your care, your wisdom, and for continuing to nurture dreams even through difficult seasons.
Today and always, we celebrate you. 🌷

Last week in Rome, our founder, Nyakabi Maira, participated in the Italy–Kenya Business Forum, a key platform shaping conversations around trade, manufacturing, and the future of the leather industry between Kenya and Italy.
The forum, supported by the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora affairs, the Italian Embassy in Kenya and the Kenya export promotion, and branding egency brought together industry and government stakeholders driving sector transformation.
Key discussions centered on financing, production capacity, and export readiness, all closely aligned with the work we are building at Pambo Letu with artisan communities.
We also had the opportunity to engage with Dr. James Mwangi of @equitygroup on the future of Kenya’s leather ecosystem and financing structures supporting its growth.
At Pambo Letu, we continue to build where craft meets story and where design becomes a language for culture, identity, and scale.
CHANUA crossbody: sculptural movement, no effort, just presence.
SITAWI in hand: compact architecture, quiet power, everyday function.
Designs that hold their shape in real life.

This is our Dandora artisan team.
They handle the hand-dyeing process of the fabrics used in our bags, forming a key part of how each Pambo Letu piece is made.
Our production is hands-on from dyeing to assembly, with our team moving between locations to work closely with artisans and ensure consistency at every stage.
Everything is done in small batches, with attention to detail from start to finish.

Revisiting the moment Mseto stepped out for the first time.
I found myself paying close attention to people and what they naturally gravitated towards, what caught their eye, what sparked conversation.
Those moments are shaping how we continue to build.
This was part of the @eastafricaarts Creative DNA programme, supporting Kenya’s creative economy through skills development, sustainable fashion, and UK–Kenya collaboration.

There’s a version of you that moves quietly.
Grounded, intentional, steady
And then there’s the one that walks in and shifts the room.
Warm, bold, impossible to ignore.
CHANUA is for both.
For the woman you already are.
And the ones you’re still becoming.
Which one are you today?
