We're so excited to share the newest Anime inspired specials menu with you, available starting today! In order of apearance:
Hollow Purple - ube + orange, availbe as a matcha or latte
Second Impact - lychee + tangerine soda, spritzed with szechuan oil, for a fun surprise on the palate
Makima Latte - cherry, honey, and walnut, available as a latte or matcha
Mudamudamudamudamuda - lemon, juniper, and white grape soda, topped with purple star sprinkles
Alcremie Latte - blueberry + lavender, available as a matcha or latte
@proofbread has been providing us with croissants and pain au chocolat for the past week, and we love supporting fellow @downtownmesa small businesses! 🥐
There's something so classic about a plain cappuccino and a croissant, if you haven't tried the pairing in a while, now's your chance 😍
@350baked will be back from Japan in a week, and we'll return to familiar deliciousness!
Meet the barista behind the drink creation!
This is Nick (@nickrayer_ ), and his addition to the Anime menu, the MudaMudaMudaMudaMuda soda!! 🟣
His drink was inspired by Dio from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, definitely tastes like a rapid-fire punch combo to the palate! With layered flavors of lemon, juniper, and white grape, this soda is as complex as it is delicious!
We thoroughly enjoy it as a plain soda, with matcha, and with espresso, do you have a preference??
We have a fun new Coferment coffee!! 🚨
Unlike many coferments, which tend to be from Colombia, this one was grown and processed in Sumatra! It brings a nice gentle fruity sweetness to the classic Sumatra deep chocolate notes, and is one of the tastiest Sumatra's we've tried in a while!
Only available in-store, in 8oz retail bags, and on our Slow Bar (try it as a flash brew for a nice summery treat!)

This is Trinity (@trinwilson99 )! Their addition to the Anime menu is the Makima latte!
They wanted to explore a new take on a classic flavor profile, and hit the nail on the head! This cherry, honey, + walnut latte is sweet yet balanced, and exciting yet familiar!

This Ube + Orange latte just tastes like straight up cereal milk, and has been a nice treat to have on the menu!

This delicious anaerobic washed Colombia has been such a treat, both on pourover and espresso! This delicately sweet, and pleasantly fruity coffee will be available online and in store for the next couple of weeks!

This is Connor! His drink on this menu is the Second Impact, and was inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion!
He's been thinking about how to incorporate Szechuan peppers into a drink for years, and he really hit it out of the park with this flavor profile!
With the sweetness of the lychee, acidity of the tangerine, and complexity of the Szechuan pepper spritz, this soda has been a great refreshing treat 🍹

This is Kathryn (@thecostumebarista ), and her addition to the Anime menu, the Alcremie Latte!
Her inspiration was the 8th generation Pokémon Alcremie, because of all its crazy evolutions, in particular the adorable Mint Cream/Berry Sweet variation! 🫐
