Thank you to everyone who participated and attended CYCYLES last month at @espaciogallery ! The exhibition touched on the patterns in life we encounter reminding us to slow down and embrace the good, bad and neutral. The exhibition gave emerging artists a platform, brought arts to the local area and raised funds for the @cottontreetrust . Special thanks to @nilaveproductions for beautifully capturing moments from the exhibition, @aaliyahidk for hosting the incredible Spoken Word and @iwkysg for bringing the music to the Art after Dark DJ event. What does music look like? Yesterday we hosted our workshop, ‘Art to the Beat’, at the @cottontreetrust . Inspired by artists such as Kandinsky, we explored how sound can become colour, shape and movement on paper. This led to conversations around the power of music in remembering hidden memories. Huge thank you to @elspethkwriting for designing this workshop! Profits from our upcoming exhibition will go towards helping The Cotton Tree Trust fulfil their mission and it will also allow us to continue offering workshops like this within the community. #artforsocialimpact #artandmusic

Wow… Thank you to everyone that came and supported CYCLES at @espaciogallery . Whilst awaiting photos from the opening night, thought we could revisit the Art after Dark night where @iwkysg brought the art of music to join the art of the gallery. The night was filled with conversation about the artists, discovering new work, giving prints a new home and two-stepping to beats.
