It is with great joy that I share today the latest project that I’ve been involved with in the past two months.
As part of the effort of stretching the doors that welcome digital art to the institutional world, @themuseumofmodernart invited me and 14 other artists to explore the blockchain as a medium for collaborative creative expression.
‘The First 15’ is live on MoMA’s website and you can see a brief article at the museum’s magazine about the project.

“The flesh is at the heart of the world.” ― Maurice Merleau-Ponty.
Being an artist is about, among other things, embracing the most vulnerable side of yourself. Endless time spent at the canyons of doubt, touching the wounds of your history, trying to translate the unspeakable, to then share it with the world and put it through the fire. And I guess it’s not exactly about the work.
“In the mirror, I recognise my facial features, but I am not my usual self - I have stepped into uncharted territory, where I can temporarily embody something different.” - Anastasiia Fedorova, Second Skin.
On the 6th of November, I shared in Berlin a bit more of the soul under my skin. e/pi:/dermis came to this world to make me understand that my practice exceeds the self contained in this body.
I could not put into words how humbled and grateful I am for being able to perform such an intimate work and being met with so much grace by those surrounding me.
Thank you to all the artist friends, collectors, strangers who came to see it and share this moment with me.
