CYMATIC: Patterns of the Pentatonic - generative photographic series by multidisciplinary artist Erika Weitz and generative artist Thomas Noya. The project brings to the fair unique wet plate collodion prints—created with one of the earliest photographic processes of the 19th century and custom software.
It’s been a month of war in Ukraine. My 2,5 yo niece (just the happiest little bean 🐛 ) arrived to Berlin 2 weeks ago. First thing she said when I met her at the station was ‘Auntie, we are going for a vacation!’. Eva is slowly realizing that this ‘vacation’ does not have an end date now. It’s a place of unknown, full of questions about why dad is not with us. Where is her grandma? Where are all her friends? Why they had to stand 11 hours outside in order to receive clothes and help. Where are her toys? And why everyone around speaks weird language. Why her mom cries. And why everyone is so worried all the time. Why they can’t go back to their home and life.
I can’t believe it’s been a month and 8 years 💔
