Meet the participants of RIGA CONTEMPORARY 2026: @p1tted_dates is a curated platform for group exhibitions founded by Sakari Tervo in Helsinki, Finland, in 2023. Originally operating from a vacant shopping mall kitchen and now based in a former cold storage space, the platform brings together emerging, overlooked, and established artists within carefully constructed poetic contexts. #ListeGalleries Pitted Dates, Helsinki @p1tted_dates presents Elina Vainio @e_vain_ , Pamela Brandt and Milka Luhtaniemi @luhtaniemimilka Pitted Dates presents a duo by Pamela Brandt and Elina Vainio, with a commissioned poem by Milka Luhtaniemi. Combining painting, sculpture, and poetry, the booth reflects an intergenerational, poetry-driven ethos. Brandt’s egg-tempera paintings shift between clarity and ambiguity, while Vainio’s beeswax reliefs evoke fragility and material sensitivity.
