As many of you may know, this passion project started about 4-5? years ago when I was about to go to London to intern with someone on their upcoming rave flyer book. Luckily, @dbburkeman swooped in and said we should work on our own book, you and me. It felt a bit surreal, considering he was a pioneer in bringing Drum & Bass from London to America in the ’90s and started the iconic NASA raves right here in NYC.
So much of my life now has been focused on nightlife, music, promoting, and flyers. To be able to work with so many legends who each cultivated something so special before my lifetime such as Kevin Saunderson, Richie Hawtin, Gavin Hardkiss, DJ Three, Frankie Bones, DJ Icey, and so many more — has been a dream.
This book will be around 500 pages with 2,500 images plus text. My entire hard drive is a plethora of flyers, and it will continue to be that way for a long, long time 🤭 What a labor of love it has been to go through this project alongside Db and Mandy… + all the other incredible people who have taken the time to contribute.
Stay tuned for the release party ;) ⭐️
