In the 1990's and 2000's - my company, @columns_of_knowledge was one of the earliest to create some of the first electronic dance music / rave events in New England, and I worked around the clock to push the culture, music, creativity, and connection across the Northeast to expand awareness and evolve and elevate humankind. That create process required marketing materials in the form of paper flyers in an era long before digital advertising. We were blessed to have so many numerous designers from those times to help us create the flyers I personally handed out with friends up and down the east coast from Maine to Washington DC!
Legendary dance music pioneer DB, has compiled MANY of our flyers along with so many others around the country from these critically influential times in the evolution of dance music! ILLEGAL: Rave Flyers of the 90s is a 500-page, encyclopedic collection of rave flyers from the dawn of rave culture in America! It's finally coming to fruition! Nearly a decade of work has gone into this project!

Ali and I lost Benny last night as he passed on to whatever comes next in the Universe. In the nearly two and a half years since this pure spirit entered my life, he has filled a void in me that has longed to own a dog again completely. Becoming his ābonus humanā and seeing his joy and excitement, the way he knew the sound of my car, the way he trusted me in his space, with him and his motherās safety, and knowing that I would care for him as if he was my own animal is priceless. I feel so blessed to have known this sacred dog whose life was cut so abruptly after an unknown tumor took him from this world.
This is a shock with a lot of grief attached. The older I keep getting the more every moment in the present continues to matter. Everyone eventually dies and leaves us until itās time for us to do the same to others that love usā¦. Everyone thinks their dog is the most special one, those that love them properlyā¦ this one really made a difference in our lives.
I know that his bond with Ali was pure love. His bond with me felt the same even if it was only 1/3 of the time she was blessed to have him. He was there for so many changes, so much growth, hard times and was there for so many little victories along the way.
I will never forget you Benny. Absolutely heartbroken. I wish weād had more time. I love you so much. š
