We are incredibly disappointed by this week’s decision by Tower Hamlets, who emphasised what a difficult decision it was to make. This incident is not a reflection of the many safe and inclusive events the venue hosts for Londoners each month and has done over many years. We completely dispute any claims that the venue is gang affiliated. We do acknowledge that security errors were made in relation to this incident, which we take full responsibility for and we will be working closely with the relevant authorities to address these issues. We will be appealing the decision and would like to thank everyone for their continued support.

We need your voice! Save Oval Space! Oval Space is an important cultural venue In London. Since opening in 2013, it has quickly developed a reputation as a key part of London’s cultural tapestry.
If you are a patron of Oval Space or support the Night Time Economy in London and across the UK, we need you to support this campaign to save Oval Space which is under threat, and may lose its license.
We need the everyone to send representation in suppport of Oval Space through our preformatted letter which highlights the importance of these spaces in major cities across the country.
You can edit the letter if you feel you need to add a personal touch, but it is important that you include your name and address in support for the representation to be logged.

Tonight - the wait is over as @Secretsundaze pull out all the stops to celebrate their 20th birthday. They play host to sixteen acts across three dancefloors: Oval Space, Oval Space Terrace and The Pickle Factory for a bumper all-day-all-night session. Highlights include New York House Music legend Joe Claussell, live performances from Japanese composer Soichi Terada and Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange, as well as special sets planned by a wealth of talented DJs including Sassy J, Ciel, anu and more.

Next Friday, math rock quartet @deltasleepband play Oval Space with support from psych-rock outfit @thephysicshouseband . Delta Sleep have been making waves in the rock scene for over 10 years now, and fresh off the back of touring the Americas they debut Oval Space for their biggest live show yet.
