1988年、カナダ、バンクーバーの過酷なノースショアで産声を上げ、マウンテンバイクの先駆者として、飽きることなく「頑丈で、最高に楽しいバイク」を追求してきたブランドがKONAです。
そんなKONAから、タフでオフロードな血液を色濃く受け継ぎ、電動アシストという技術で昇華したe-グラベルバイク「Libre EL」、大いに信頼してご納車させていただきました。
電動アシストのワンマンチーム（ゴリ押し感）は全く感じず、アルミフレームとフルカーボンフォークの絶妙なバランスにより、車重を感じずかなり爽快。
街乗りだけで済ませるには申し訳ないほどのコンポーネントセットですので、ぜひとも自分の体調に合わせ林道グラベルへ向かって欲しい！

Born in 1988 on the rugged North Shore of Vancouver, Canada, KONA has spent decades pioneering mountain bikes with a simple mission: building bikes that are tough, reliable, and ridiculously fun to ride.
From that same DNA comes the “Libre EL” — an e-gravel bike that carries KONA’s off-road spirit into the modern age through electric assist technology. We were stoked to deliver one to its new rider.
What stands out about the Libre EL is how natural the ride feels. There’s none of that overpowering “motor does everything” sensation. Thanks to the well-balanced combination of an aluminum frame and full carbon fork, the bike feels surprisingly light and lively on the road.
Honestly, the component spec is far too good to keep this bike limited to city cruising alone. We’d love to see it heading into forest gravel roads and backcountry adventures, adjusted to whatever pace your body feels good with that day.
And of course, if you’re planning to sprint toward a taco spot at the top of a climb… we made sure the cockpit and contact points were dialed, including a set of Taco Pedals so you can stay planted and confidently put power down.
We don’t normally keep the Libre EL on display in-store, but after talking through the rider’s needs together, this turned out to be the perfect bike choice.
