Lost and Found Gravel Festival, where do we even begin?! We’ve been providing our world famous aid station for this event for yeeeears now, and it’s one of our favorite parties, I mean rides, of the summer! You can hammer this as a race, or register with a group of friends and take all day: you’re going to enjoy the scenery of the #LostSierra and the awesome vibes, no matter what. You’ll know you’re getting close to the PAUL aid station when you smell the bacon and hear the Grateful Dead (or Afroman😂). Also, all the money raised at this event goes right back into trail building and community in this area, so this is what pays off when you come back to ride Mt Hough, Mills Peak, Downieville, Lakes Basin, etc etc. June 13th is the date, register now and let’s party!
A 1992 Specialized Stumpjumper - Built from love and friendship
Our goal was to create a one‑of‑a‑kind build, proving that repurposed soul can outshine the “new.” Through a collaboration with six master component makers and one artist, we transformed this legend into El Mono Loco.
Older riders remember rolling this bike off the showroom and taking it down their first mountain trails. 🚲
The younger riders lust over the summation of retro mods like the smooth 1x11 drivetrain, 165mm pure cranks or the custom Ti bullmoose bars. ⚙️
But, the ones who see through it all, who look past the noise and into the soul of our Stumpy, understand that this is more than a bike. It’s a piece of functional art, meant to be experienced in motion. 🎨

Fresh PBJ build for Gino who is 5’8” tall with a 730mm saddle height and this is a Medium frame. I have been putting those two dimensions in all of the build write ups so folks can compare their numbers to the photos. Numbers have the final say, but I think you can really tell a lot about a bike just by looking at it. Knowing how your frame will look built up with parts that fit you can tell you a lot. That is why we spend so much time emailing customers and sending them drawings of frames. If you are curious about sizing and send us a note, we will almost certainly be sending you a mock up that can give you a better idea. You can also pull some numbers off of those drawings to compare to your bikes to get a better idea of how things will fit.

I know, it’s not that big of a deal, but it does come in handy and look real elegant. Our Klamper-inspired topcaps now come in a version with a built-in 5mm spacer. Some carbon fork manufacturers specify it, and sometimes you just wanna keep a touch of extra steerer tube around for adjustments or resale value. Anyways, The Rook is now live on the website! ♟️
We’re SUPER excited about this new trail network opening just up the mountain from us above Butte Meadows! Two trails are already finished, with 5 or 6 more in the works, and an eventual plan to connect this to the @sierratrails Connected Communities trails. Yeah, this is big! So… we asked @the.scorps if he’d be willing to donate artwork for a fundraiser T-Shirt, and he doodled up this fun drawing of the Colby Mountain Lookout. These are VERY limited edition, so if you want a sweet rare McNally shirt while raising money for a killer trail system in Lassen National Forest, head to our website quick before they’re gone!

It’s no secret our water bottles are made in the USA by @specialized_custom and it’s also no secret we’re passionate about recycling around here. Well, they just started offering a couple new bottles made entirely from 100% recycled material. While we aren’t crazy about putting more plastic out in the world, it may as well be 100% recycled AND recyclable, so we’re offering this option in our Dune Buggy bottle, in this Teal color. Soooo….
