With our 3️⃣Year Anniversary event at @1015sf in just 2 weeks — Wed Dec 4th 7-11PM — we’re excited to announce our first of three stages: COMMÜNITY🫂
CommÜnity is at the center of everything we do, as one of our core founding pillars. Through our events, we strive to bring people together through music & art, with a purpose of fostering a mutually uplifting community that inspires one another to be the best we can be.
At closessions, we celebrate community collaboration and have been blessed to partner with so many amazing people and organizations (including our music partners for this event on the second slide - artist lineups coming with stage)
For our COMMÜNITY stage, we’re thrilled to be partnering with @ourblock.community & @blanq_slate_ to combine our respective concepts of Open Decks, the mix up, & CommÜnity submissions— all created to provide a space for DJs in our community to showcase their talents as well as to grow individually and together.
We’re excited to be hosting an entire stage dedicated to CommÜnity submissions (now live via our link in bio | deadline: Sun Nov 24th) of 30 minute B2B slots. Please submit as either a B2B or solo (and we can pair you). Our team will review through submissions and contact you with details before the show.
For Artists, we’re also taking submissions for you to display / vend your art across all three of our stages - submissions via our partner @the.good.fun

You know the vibes! It’s like open mic, but for DJs. This time we’re putting a twist to celebrate Halloween:
Trick-or-Treat DJ Roulette: B2B Style.
Names are drawn randomly for a surprise b2b set. DJs will be grouped by the following BPM ranges before the roulette begins: • 90-110 BPM • 110-130 BPM • 130-150 BPM
Each set is 30 minutes. All styles welcome.

- get exposure to professional level equipment they might not have at home
ALL while having good food and drinks 💕
it’s also a space for people who just wanna have a good time and enjoy the art of DJing ✨

SF folks- we are so back with our favorite event The Mix Up 🌀 We are collaborating with @ourblock.community to bring some fresh faces into the fold. They share the ethos of getting new DJs to throw down in a safe, friendly, and ego-less environment.
Iykyk great! But if you don’t, The Mix Up is blanq slate’s take on b2b/open decks where we encourage DJs of all backgrounds and experience to sign up to spin with strangers in a quick-paced, high energy yet low stakes environment. We do not discriminate against any demographic of people and have a zero-tolerance policy for any such behavior including but not limited to sexism, racism, homophobia, ableism, non-consensual behavior, etc.
