We’re kicking off EP release festivities with an energy-packed set by day astro & dotnine. Shot in November 2025 during the production of nectar EP, it features many sources of inpiration for the project – ethereal footwork, minimal club, and everything in between.

The producer / DJ duo, colloquially known as “day.9”, conjure a night of high energy dance and soundscape, with genres ranging from breaks, bass and footwork.

This project has been so meaningful to both of us. It is truly an amalgamation of our journeys as artists and stands as an artifact of our collective emotional resonance and passion for club music.

Posting my Yung Singh set from last summer up on YouTube. I wanted to play a set that would fit in a modern daytimer rave drawing from the UK and US club and breaks scene.
The daytimers were South Asian youth escaping their lives to express themselves freely in the 80s and 90s UK. This movement paved the way for many important figures in the South Asian diaspora for the coming years, helping mold the sound of UK bass and garage.
