🎬 OFFICIAL SELECTION 🎬 Honored to announce that TWO SISTERS has been selected for the MENA Film Festival and will be making its World Premiere! @menafilmfestival MENA FILM FESTIVAL SATURDAY, JANUARY 17, 2026 8:00 PM VIFF STUDIO THEATRE VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA About Two Sisters @twosistersfilm : On the day before Eid, Safaa (Played by Myrriam Ali-Ahmad @myrr.i.am ), a rock-climbing obsessed teen, struggles through literal and emotional ascents after her estranged older sister, Farah (Played by Zayna Altoubal @zayna9898 ), suddenly returns home for the first time in years. Over the course of an evening in their single-parent household, the sisters slowly reconnect through a shared love of rock climbing, pushing their relationship to the limit in hopes of unraveling the issues that haunt them both—while navigating the complexities of family alongside their mother (played by Rima Haddad @rima.a.haddad ). Two months ago I was really about to walk away from music and my craft and last night I had TWO B2B SOLD OUT SHOWS at @sfjazz for @noisepop !!!! . The past few years has broken my relationship with my self, with my craft, with my own humanity, and reckoning with these times had left me divorced from Spirit and my calling. But the countless reminders from everyone who came and witnessed that this is a gift that must be nurtured and must be given. I’m so grateful to each and every one that came out to my shows last night and held me as I laid it all bare on stage. My heart is so full. Immense gratitude to @noisepop for having me and honored to be included in this year’s lineup. And to @sfjazz for their overwhelming hospitality and care for their artists; this was the most important show of my career. And to @oadayday and @tylawave of @totalaccordagency for changing my life and pushing me to what Spirit has in store for me. And of course, thank you to my incredible band who translated the vision into something tangible.
