Selected songs from The Spoon and The Fork re-imagined.
The concept is the song’s ability to evolve over time. Taking on new meaning when presented in a new way. We live in a culture where heartfelt art has such a short life span, then it’s on to the next. A lot of these songs mean something completely different to me compared to when I wrote them, but I still love the writing. I wanted to give them another chance to land and grow.
This is some of the most fun I’ve had recording a project. Shout out to @richiesweet1 and @jihad_darwish_ for their amazing playing and completely understanding the assignment.
