Yoga in ORTHUNGA’s current exhibition LIVING FREE

Experience a special yoga session surrounded by works by Kirsten Lockenwitz and Knud Hvidberg in ORTHUNGA’s historic spaces. Both artists had a deep spiritual practice rooted in Vedanta, which will be briefly introduced at the beginning of the session.
The session includes breathing exercises, asanas, and meditation, and everyone is welcome to participate — regardless of experience level.
There will also be an opportunity to browse Kirsten’s collection of yoga books left behind after her passing.
Instructor: Maria Kjær Themsen (curator of the exhibition and long-time yoga teacher)
Please bring a mat, blanket, water — and optionally a notebook.

Oplev en særlig yogaseance midt blandt værker af Kirsten Lockenwitz og Knud Hvidberg i ORTHUNGAs historiske lokaler. Begge kunstnere havde en dyb spirituel praksis med rødder i Vedanta, som introduceres kort ved forløbets begyndelse.
Sessionen rummer åndedrætsøvelser, asanas og meditation, og alle kan deltage – uanset erfaring.
Der vil desuden være mulighed for at bladre i Kirstens efterladte samling af yogabøger.
Underviser: Maria Kjær Themsen (kurator bag udstillingen og mangeårig yogalærer)
Medbring måtte, tæppe, vand – og evt. notesbog.
