‘It’s Gonna Rain’ is a film I made with
@owenlawie in 2022. I am just finally getting around to publishing it properly. If you like, you can view the full film on YouTube via the link in my bio.
“It’s Gonna Rain is a meditative reflection on the quiet absurdity of everyday life, exploring the fragile, fleeting connections that bind us within suburban spaces. Drifting through a series of surreal yet human moments, the film follows an ensemble of characters: two aging philosophers debating aliens from the depths of a kiddie pool, two pirates inexplicably destined for friendship, lovers attempting to reignite their spark through backyard karate, and a solitary dancer who dons a feline disguise to embrace his truest self. At once melancholic and whimsical, It’s Gonna Rain invites the audience to revel in the strange poetry of existence.”
