This fall, we launch our first sneaker. Soul to sole, it will be built on a 100% American supply chain. American leather. American fabric. American labor. American grit.
I don’t know exactly where this will take @originusa long term. But I can feel something happening.
For fifteen years, we’ve been reclaiming what was lost.
From the first factory in the woods behind my house weaving fabric and making gis… to reopening a denim factory in North Carolina and breathing life back into it again.
The wins. The losses. The risks. The chaos. All of it in pursuit of doing things the right way.
We are now entering phase two of our 100-year plan.
It’s a hard path.
It’s the only path.
Not just made in America.
BUILT BY FREEDOM.
Monday starts different when you walk into a factory that’s alive.
Hundreds of Americans building something real.
Machines humming. Leather moving. Customer orders stacking up.
Then someone hands you a fresh prototype off the line.
New Chukka prototypes. Early, raw, not perfect yet. But real. Hand made by our world class developer.
And you stop for a second and realize what’s happening here.
This factory, in Franklin County, Maine, will build tens of thousands of boots this year.
Not outsourced.
Not assembled overseas.
Not “designed in America.”
Crafted here. Built by Freedom.
100% American-made.
100% American-sourced components.
By American hands.
That’s a damn good way to start a Monday.
@originusa
To the women who taught us how to work. How to love. How to keep going when things got hard. We thank you. Not just today, but everyday. Happy Mother’s Day.
