This fall, we launch our first sneaker. Soul to sole, it will be built on a 100% American supply chain. American leather. American fabric. American labor. American grit.
I don’t know exactly where this will take @originusa long term. But I can feel something happening.
For fifteen years, we’ve been reclaiming what was lost.
From the first factory in the woods behind my house weaving fabric and making gis… to reopening a denim factory in North Carolina and breathing life back into it again.
The wins. The losses. The risks. The chaos. All of it in pursuit of doing things the right way.
We are now entering phase two of our 100-year plan.
It’s a hard path.
It’s the only path.
Not just made in America.
BUILT BY FREEDOM.

I had the privilege of attending the @montanaknifecompany grand opening in Missoula Montana this past weekend. Amazing people and amazing company. The new facility with a @blackriflecoffee shop enmeshed in the operation is one of the coolest builds of a company I have ever seen. Working Knives for hard working people. Great to see so many people supporting. I have used so many knives over the years and as a kid I owned dozens and now as an adult my collection is boarded line weird. Men, women and children should know how to use and care for one of the oldest tools in the history of the world.
