A selection of architectural drawings of modernist facades, interiors, and geometry by artist @studiosanderpatelski
“The drawings that I make are not exact representations. They are reductions. I remove context and secondary detail to focus on structure, proportion, and the relationship between openings and solid planes.
Shadows are constructed as geometry, reinforcing form instead of atmosphere.
The buildings I draw come from different places and periods, but I treat them equally. By removing context and material specificity, they exist in the same abstract register, allowing me to focus on composition.“

Kazemat Koningsweg is a compact holiday home in Arnhem designed by JCR Architecten. The structure is a 43 m² (approx. 463 sq ft) modern retreat built on a former military site. Elevated above the ground and concealed by native planting, the cabin blends into the surrounding landscape, with a green roof designed to support local wildlife.

Maison Bouriant, the former home of architect Christian Gimonet, designed in 1968. Located in the historic French city of Bourges, it reflects a lifetime of work rooted in this small town, where Gimonet thoughtfully adapted principles of organic architecture to harmonise with the city’s Gothic urban landscape.

Now they’ve produced their own supercar in tribute to that victory: the 95-59, named for the year and winning car number - revealed to big applause at the Goodwood Members’ Meeting.
