Although this product has always been around, it’s finally time it got the hard launch it deserves.
❗️The Remote Panel acts as an additional location in which the same outputs can be controlled as the main unit. All kits include an 8 or 12 switch panel, Remote Panel Cable, one legend pack, a T connection and mounting hardware.
💭Compatibility
The SP9100 is compatible with an 8 switch remote panel
An 8 switch Remote Panel added to an SP9100 system will operate the same 8 switches/outputs as the main panel.
The RCR-Force®12 is compatible with either an 8 switch Remote Panel, or a 12 switch Remote Panel.
An 8 switch Remote Panel added to a RCR-Force®12 is able to control any 8 outputs from the main system, whether they are assigned to a switch or not.
A 12 switch Remote Panel added to a RCR-Force®12 is able to control any 12 outputs from the main system, whether they are assigned to a switch or not.
❓Application
Not sure the purpose of the Remote Panel System? In the racing application, this system allows for both the driver and co-driver to operate the same outputs, from their respective seats in the vehicle. The Remote Panel System is also utilized by work trucks, where the driver needs to operate accessories from the cab of the vehicle while driving, but also from the exterior when on the job site. The Remote Panel can also be used for operation of accessories from the driver’s seat, or a rooftop tent.
Was so cool getting to hang out at @switch.pros.official for a few days getting the wiring on the 6G finally dialed in. Honestly didn’t realize how unprepared the truck really was until now with all the random lighting issues I kept running into.
Now everything is finally at a point where I can trust it. Lights are properly connected, locker is integrated, and the whole system just works the way it should’ve from the start ✅
Next up is dual battery setup, onboard air compressor, and fridge setup in the rear 👀
