I’m beyond stoked (pun always intended) to share my @tedx_official at @tedxmb : “Plastic is ruining our planet — here’s why it might save it.”
For those who don’t know, @stokedplastic and @opolis_optics were inspired by my years overseas as a U.S. Government contractor specializing in Countering Violent Extremism (CVE). That experience rewired how I see plastic: not only as a pollutant harming our planet, biodiversity, and bodies, but also as a force tangled up in cycles of violence and exploitation where communities have few alternatives.
This talk is about that hard truth, and the hope on the other side.
