We you want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone in attendance last weekend. There was a real appreciation for the slower, textured, more patient side of things. We heard from many of you, both during and after, how much you want more nights like this and we’re looking forward to making that happen.
We tried something new with “Dancefloor Recovery”, having @_lewadny offering free massage throughout the night. It added a really grounding, restorative layer to the experience, a place to reset without leaving the room. Grateful to him for holding that space so thoughtfully.
Again, thank you to the artists, staff, and everyone involved. We estimate that the IQ and the dance floor was over 10,000. That’s impressive.

May 2nd - Support System returns with a night of autonomic and techno-adjacent sounds, welcoming @captivate_____ and @openend__
captivate joins from Vancouver, bringing a sound rooted in UK rave lineage, soundsystem culture, and left-field sensibilities. After a previous appearance at Pull Up, this set leans further into his current direction.
OpenEnd returns to Calgary after years shaping the local scene, now based on the Sunshine Coast. His production draws from drum & bass, now focused through autonomic and techno, with an emphasis on texture, rhythm, and atmosphere.
Traditionally rooted in dubstep, @vyla_140 makes her Support System debut with a techno-leaning set that weaves dubstep’s origins into pulsing, hard groove, dancefloor-focused rhythms.

He runs the influential label ONSET AUDIO, which focuses on Halftime and Minimal Drum & Bass, Deep Jungle, Ambient, and Experimental Bass. The label represents notable artists like Homemade Weapons, Acid Lab, Red Army, and Akinsa, as well as LImnal on the Canadian side who is on the support for the night alongside OpenEnd. New music out today on french label, @bluenightjungle 🌀 Over the past few years, I'd say the majority of my musical inspiration has come from and around the country of France. BNJ has been a huge contributor to the rise of that sound and movement, so it’s an honour to be included on their latest VA series - celebrating 10 years of the label. Hello internet!
I don’t like sharing or being on here much these days but I do feel I’m overdue to give a lil life update.
The camellia bush in our backyard is popping off. Still integrating with the coast, this land and new lifestyle. Building home with @sssaltoftheearth has seriously been my life's greatest gift. Missing my AB family/friends, but there’s still nowhere else I’d rather be. The coast is so damn beautiful.
Still getting in the studio. Some of these songs are scheduled for release this year + there's a lottt more. I also have a new song that came out a few weeks ago on the homie @jake.robertz album, Ouroboros (check my 🔗's). I'm honoured to be a part of it.
In other news, there's a chance I’ll win my fantasy hockey pool. Been listening to a lot of NIN. Carly and I are leaving for Japan this week. Go Flames.
