This past weekend @renaissancepleasurefaire was so much fun! I got to hang with my awesome OMTeam along with so many friends from the past to the present .. how grateful I am to be surrounded by so much love !
Green has been my new favorite color for a while now, I think since I shifted into focusing on my heart space more. The color green represents this chakra.

🌙 This collection is to remind you of the Arthurian legends, and that Avalon represents a place for solace, healing, and perhaps even a gateway to the next world.
🗡️ For all our Warrior-Sprits out there, this Avalon/Medieval/*Joan of Arc*-inspired collection featured metallic mesh-link ChainMail-esque fabrics, paired with soft rayon linens inspired by the colors of medieval plants 🌱

Last week was a whirlwind 💫
I spent many hours in production mode while also navigating emotions of unrest in our world.
It was both eye-opening and heart-opening to say the very least while in #DTLA, which is a huge hub of protests and unsettling struggles. I have been reflecting on all those that are suffering, and at the same time appreciating all those that have helped me get to where I am now.
🇺🇸SHOUT OUTS of love 💕 go to my production team in DTLA since 2010! Lupe, Carlos, Joel, Teresa, Julie, Francisco, Josh, & Jessica.
Thanks to them, I am still proudly making my clothes in the USA. Despite the horrific times, I believe that is saying a lot.
I am grateful for those who have stayed with me from the very beginning till now. You know who you are and I am forever grateful! 💗
I hope I can continue making clothing here, in Los Angeles. I do worry about all the upheavals and how expensive everything has gotten.
With that thought, I do want to announce a little shift in pricing for this new year ahead. I haven’t increased my prices since I began production sewing & cutting clothing in 2010, if you can believe that! But it is necessary now.
It’s time to go with the flow in order to stay afloat, and I so honor and appreciate all of you who are on the journey with me, supporting handmade artisans and the slow fashion movement, while also supporting our economy by buying goods proudly made in the USA 🇺🇸

- Our latest campaign is titled “Desert Nomad” and will feature editorial-styled ensembles along with spotlights on a few new designs + fabrics.
- I am very inspired by the Bedouin Nomads in Egypt, along with the Berbers and Tuaregs in Morocco & North Africa. So I thought I’d add a splash of inspo. from those regions to my looks/ensembles.

Sometimes I call this “Fantasy Lite”—it’s nothing too crazy or committed, just enough of a fantasy element that you’re still vibing, while not being trapped under too many layers or constricted by crazy corsets 🤺

Why am I wearing it so much?
It BREATHES 😮💨
I love a dedicated cosplay look don’t get me wrong, but not everyone can physically handle that, and especially not on a day pushing 100 degrees! 🫠 especially as a vendor, I need something lightweight and with good airflow💨

So this type of styling, while more simple, allows you to blend with the theming while surviving what will absolutely be a very long and very hot day 🙌 it’s my number one suggestion if someone has specific physical requirements or sensory issues, or if they just don’t have the time/energy for a big commitment costume.
And you can make it fancier with more accessories/jewelry as needed! I chose to cinch mine with the black underbust corset my friend made for me🥹

✨ Behind the magic with Alexia ✨
This session almost didn’t happen.
No cell service. Couldn’t find each other.
A few wrong turns and a lot of deep breaths.
But the universe had other plans ✨and thank goddess it did. 🙏🏽
She arrived shy. Soft-spoken. A little nervous.
Her energy folded inward like a flower not quite ready to bloom.
By the end? We were twerking at a secret waterfall. 💦
THIS is what happens when a sacred container is held.
Our ritual:
🌿 Hiked into the wild
🍫 Sipped cacao together
🙏🏽 Grounded, cleansed & thanked the land
🌎 Asked permission to create
💃🏽 Moved our bodies to embody our intentions
👼🏽 Invited in the wisdom body + inner child
🌊 Then we played. We trusted. We just were.
Watching a woman remember her wild, her
softness, her power…all in the same breath..
is the most sacred work I get to witness.
She didn’t become a goddess that day.
She remembered she always was one. 👑
Lessons learned: always confirm the meeting spot & meet where there is cell service😅, especially during retrogrades, trust the timing, and know that what’s meant for you will always find its way.
This is more than a photoshoot. It’s a homecoming.
