You probably heard whispers from me, but it’s finally time for me to shout about it. I’ve made a new album and it’s all about beauty.
It’s about the beauty of the everyday — going out dancing with your friends, or finding a way to take work off on a sunny day. A couple with their hair dyed the same colour. A bird sitting on the powerlines. Mountains and websites.
And it’s about the type of beauty that is overwhelming and oppressive — the agony of joy coupled with loss, the recognition that memories are passed and that the divine is only ever glimpsed momentarily. Heartbreak. Regret. Que saudade.
I’m so excited to release this album, to release it, to set it free.

從五月開始, Interface 將暫時休息，並轉為每季舉辦一次的活動。我做出這個決定，是因為我希望活動能被更好地策劃，創造更多國際藝術家、本地藝術家與在地觀眾之間獨特的交流可能，也能有更充裕的宣傳時間，或許也能讓所有參與者獲得更好的報酬。
另外，我現在有了一份全職工作，籌辦這些活動開始變得更像工作，而不再是單純的樂趣……
感謝大家過去兩年的支持。沒有你們，這個系列不可能持續到現在。特別感謝 @ccc333ccc 為這個活動系列在台中提供空間與能量，讓它得以成長茁壯。
這次，我們的好朋友 Opal Beau 將帶著他的新專輯《Beautiful Blue Infinity》回到台灣巡演。現場還有精彩的演出，包括 glitch noise deconstructed club 藝術家 L6xtwzf30、tribal psychedlic 的 Betelnut Kangaroo，以及台中 Dao 的常駐 Sseth，將以 IDM、EBM 為這一晚劃下句點！
那麼，在今年稍晚再次相見之前，來 Tomar 一起慶祝 Interface 26 吧！！！！！！！
From May onwards, interface will take a break and become a quarterly event. I’ve made this decision as i feel the events can be curated better, with more unique possibilities for exchange between international artists, local artists and local audiences, less rushed for promotion, and maybe more money for everyone involved.
And I have a full time job now so hosting these events feels more like work instead of an actual enjoyment.
Thank you all for your support over the past two years. It couldn’t have lasted this long without your support.
Big thanks to ccc333ccc for giving me the space and energy for this event series to thrive in Taichung.
This time our good friend Opal Beau will be returning to taiwan to tour his new album “Beautiful Blue Infinity.” There will also be an amazing live set from glitch noise deconstructed club artist L6xtwzf30, the tribal psychedelic Betelnut Kangaroo and Taichung Dao club resident Sseth to round off the night with some IDM EBM!

Awe IX & I went on a little day trip to the beach in Jan 2022. The landmarks and objects on and around the beach seemed to take on a monumental significance. I dug a grave and laid myself to rest and was eventually reborn (with a grin).

Very excited and a little scared to share this collection of songs from 2019 - 2021.
They’re meditations on the ideal of happiness (and the extent to which it is attainable), from a volatile but beautiful time in my life.
