I’m thrilled to announce that “O Jogo Bonito” will be making its world premiere at the 2nd edition of the Rio Cine Awards in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! This project has been such a fulfilling and emotional journey for me. For this film to be recognized in Brazil where this film and my family derive from is a huge honor. A gratifying feeling being able to direct after a year away from the director's chair. I met Frank on a different set and we quickly got along. He shared with me a few unreleased songs and I asked if he wanted to add visuals to an already incredible track. From there Over My Head was in full swing. I'll be forever grateful for his willingness to listen to new ideas, no matter how insane. Our video wouldn't have been possible without Sarah's skillful producing. She found our location after months with no leads. This location had everything. Open fields, forests, chickens, cows, kittens, you name it. This feat made our AD Beccah's job a little more bearable. Company moves, rain, mosquitos, she kept us on our feet and we made our day. Our amazing design team came up with the beautiful looks you see on our talent. Lydia meshed formal with a car wreck and it came out wonderfully. Elise our PA crushed it with our smoke FX, windshield cracks, and a killer truck driver. Charlie's killer instincts and attention to detail brought Lydia's designs together with decaying skin and blood makeup FX. A puzzle to put together but a shoot I'll never forget. Our team brought their A-Game and helped create a lush world that lives within the AVX canon. Thank you all! A special thanks to all who contributed to our fundraiser!
