The chunky design of the Timber Armchair truly shines in this photo. Made from solid blocks of elm wood, the rounded corners highlight the beautiful natural patterns in the wood. 🪑
This chair is still available for purchase. Feel free to send me a message if you’re interested.
Autumn colors 🍂🍁
This week we’ve been experimenting with several new color blends for the Dawn collection.
The purplish hue on the right is a real favorite. Should we call it raspberry?
Send a message if you’d like a stool or another piece of furniture in one of these colors!

New Hedera Collection! 🌿 Hedera Armchair x Dutch Invertuals
An armchair inspired by climbing plants and their remarkable ability to cover entire surfaces, or grow meters high by winding around trees or other objects. Ivy (Hedera), a fast-growing, woody plant found all over the world, embodies this idea perfectly. Its young shoots are slender, flexible, and equipped with rootlets to cling to surfaces, while its mature branches become thick, self-supporting, and rootless. Made for the Specimen exhibition of @dutch_invertuals Dutch Invertuals challenged 15 designers to each design a unique object based on their Straightforward Chair.
On show during @dutchdesignweek
The Hedera Dining Table, designed by Onno Adriaanse, appears to emerge from a rock formation made of maple wood, which is overgrown by lush climbing plants.
These plants intertwine into a supporting organic structure, like a tree with an expansive canopy on which the satin glass top can rest. This creates a striking and balanced form, with a tabletop that seems to float freely all around.

Meet Dutch designer Onno Adriaanse. Working at the intersection of design and art, he creates sculptural objects that balance functionality with a sensory experience.
Onno draws his inspiration from landscapes and geological processes, translating natural elements into designs that echo organic forms, textures, and colours. His newest collection, Hedera, is inspired by climbing plants and their ability to transform entire surfaces.

Next up in our Materia artist series - meet Onno Adriaanse.
Based in Eindhoven, Onno graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2016, founding his studio the same year. His practice centres on sculptural furniture and objects defined by material weight, tactile surfaces, and a strong geological presence.
Working at the intersection of contemporary production and manual craft, he translates the language of landscape into functional forms that feel grounded and enduring.
For Materia 2026, he brings this earth-driven sensibility to Matek™ - a material that, like his work, begins with discarded matter and becomes something entirely new.
We can’t wait to share what he brings to this year’s exhibition! 🖤

An indigo kitchen stretching nearly 6 metres, designed as the centre of the home. Deep blue tones on one side, natural oak on the other, creating contrast and balance throughout the space.
Finished with our Dawn technique, applicable to kitchens, wall panelling and cabinetry.

Hedera Credenza (2026)
Fully crafted from solid walnut wood. Combining traditional cabinetmaking with organically hand-sculpted elements. Only the detail photos truly show how each piece was hand-shaped and sanded until every scratch disappeared.

New Hedera Desk + Chair
Incredibly happy with how this tured out!
On show @_dilmos_
The Hedera Desk is not only a fusion of clean and organic lines, but also of materials. It looks as though young shoots have grown against the glass, eventually forming a supporting structure. The brown, matte glass
creates a contrast with its smooth, reflective surface, yet also feels like a natural continuation of the dark walnut wood into another material due to its foggy effect.
The desk is accompanied by a chair in the same design language, combining a walnut structure with a separate leather cushion for seating comfort.
• Material: Walnut wood, satin oil + bronze matte glass
• Size: ± 90 x 180 x 75 cm.

The Hedera Floor Lamp is made entirely of maple wood with a matte lacquer finish. The structure develops from a parallelepiped base, from which slender elements with a circular section emerge, resembling growing branches. Their vertical progression appears to follow sunlight—mimicking natural behavior—before opening into three lampshades that abstractly recall the corolla of flowers. The electrical cables are fully integrated within the wooden structure, allowing the material to remain the true protagonist. The light intensity can be adjusted via a floor dimmer.
