We went to Massachusetts with @richsadlon and @joshmachado_ and @_hivernal_ and @grave.notes and others and we had music weekend and at music weekend we recorded this cover. This was before pretty puttanesca became a band and before we were writing songs together.
In the background you can hear chatters and laughter from our friends as the song goes by. It was our third take. It was just me (Josh) and Mattie in the room and we knew they’d be coming back soon from having lunch and would use the room to jam. Our time felt limited and special. Our time was limited and special.
We are releasing our debut album, Pretty Puttanesca in 2 weeks, on the first day of fall.
