Sarah Swillum * ~ Detroit native music works use word & voice play to express simple moments and fleeting emotions in a surreal way. Having been featured on several compilations, self-produced dada beat, pop-chant music expresses Earthly emotions with unearthly sounds // likes Bjork & Britney BABIES R STUPID * (BRS Industries), is a 4-7 member group of autodidactic, convicted arsonists who met at Detroit Wayne County Probate Court. They produce electronic music on pirated software and stolen Eurorack gear. Performing around the world each weekend, they rarely advertise due to outstanding warrants. Known for their dangerous live shows, they aim to sonically bleed the ears of club bathroom cocaine users, who destroy global music scenes. BRS rails against Bongo House DJ culture with victimless crimes, such as ripping off Detroit Movement Festival, by throwing an anti Capitalist counter festival- Bowel Movement. (Free research chemicals for fans). The MoonWater Club Band *-* prioritizes entertainment and minimalism in their live shows. Referenced to as “cocteau twins as a bedroom band”, the three piece boy band playing out of Detroit moves to move you both physically and mentally with their collaborative live shows and unique composition Lowtown **** is a collective of Atlanta music scene vets—what started as a two piece country outfit has morphed into a four person art rock experiment that plays with various iterations of post punk, gothic sensibilities, and melodrama. Known for their cinematic flair, Lowtown puts on a fiery live show and creates a world that is uniquely their own.
