The Art of Hope fundraiser for @rayofhopekw was a wonderful evening!
Thanks to everyone from @luxe.realtygroup , for including @kwsartists in this night of community and art! Your Team and the folks from @collabhivekw were all so helpful and welcoming.
Loved @boathousedtk nibblies; the crew were all lovely! And Citrus Mint Hop water from @wellingtonbrewery is my new fave refreshing beverage!
Thanks to everyone who came out in support with a shout out to our friends Lisa and Peter from @creativemindsaccounting , @april.lupi , Lisa McDonald @those2girls from @gkwcc , @aislinnclancykc and her Dad ; our artist friends from KWSA who were in the show and those who came to cheer us on!

We were so busy all night talking with folks that I took very few pix- but I had to get one with my Andy and our buddy the “swirly boy” himself Quentin @paintsbycue_ ( follow him! His art is magical!)

I am absolutely gobsmacked at the level of caring, creativity and professionalism that I have received from @jaz.thecollective at @the.collective.salon
Claire and I popped in for a quick “Help!” consultation on Saturday and were already impressed by the thoroughness of her questions.
Went to see her today and it was next level. We talked about previous styles and what had and hadn’t worked- with the photos to show her. She asked about my haircare routine, the challenges and goals, and off we went.
She took the time to educate me on what she was doing and why and then suggested a routine. All of this while remaining sensitive to my hearing impairment and making sure that she was on the right side of me.
The wrap up included an explanation of the products and how to use them. No hard sell. And an invitation to check in if any questions arise or I need help.
Topped off with her being a kindred spirit - she loves books and reading! I have found the right stylist for me- just look at that before photo.

This incredible lady, whom I am honoured to call my friend, is herself being honoured by her induction this weekend into the Waterloo Region Hall of Fame as a “Community Builder”
@coralandrews_kw has, and continues to have, a huge impact on the art and artists in our Region and beyond.

Yes, this is really my eye. Sitting at our kitchen table, natural light, Andy up close with the camera. Voila!
You can even see the blinds and across the street reflected!
This is my right eye. I really wanted to see if the deterioration was noticeable but it’s the left one that is the issue but we’re going to have a look any way!

Lawdy. What a week. A Tetris game of moving furniture, deadlines, meetings, and more has left us a wee bit tired!
