One Zero | MNL | Design

The team got to visit @tiffanystainedglassph ’s workshop and showroom last week! We hoped to understand how our design process can dive deeper to incorporate more interpretations of our identity through heritage craftsmanship and materials. How do we frame its place in society now, and what can we leave behind for future designers to inherit? Each glass is around 6 millimeters thick, bound together using flexible strips which are soldered in place. They come in pre-made swatches and base colors/textures, which are then hand-painted or sponge-dabbed to create detailed illustrations or gradients of color.

Third time’s a charm!3️⃣ It’s time to occupy (TWO BLOCKS!) of the Queen of Manila’s Streets for the biggest @holaescolta yet!🤩 Lock in the last TWO Saturdays of November for your downtown fieldtrip! 🗺 Our parade of dreams ✨start with a street market 🎨🖌, busking 🎵 tours⛴️ and urban placemaking workshops; an art installation welcomes you inside the @firstunitedbldg1928 where six floors are activated with design studios, photography and fashion houses, movement practitioners and hair artists, illustrators, an eyewear studio and more! All doors open to keep you immersed with that downtown Manila magic!🪄🪄👀 Multiple art markets are also happening in different floors organized by @hubmakelab , @project.lemons , and @stickerconmnl so be sure to wander around get lost in our creative playground!🏢🌞 Then all our delusions converge as we end the night with performances, drag artists and barrio beats. 💃🕺🪩 There’s really no place you’d rather be in for the two weekends, November 22 and 29, this year! Space To bring the identity into physical form, we worked with @onezerodesignco led by Arts Serrano. They translated the brand into spaces that feel modern, vibrant, and relatable. A key consideration was modularity. Most arcade and amusement spaces serve as containers for a variety of gaming machines, and the design needed to accommodate this while remaining flexible. Branded elements were created to be reusable across different shops, pop-ups, and future locations. Each shop is designed as a fun-filled environment, offering new discoveries through games, characters, and details that carry the brand’s playful language. We hope visitors enjoy these spaces as much as we enjoyed shaping the brand behind them. Design and Renders: One/Zero Design
