Spinning it Back - This time last week, the walls of Steamboat Limerick were FILLED with energy, laughter and unity. Music lovers came from far and wide to celebrate Record Store Day and we cannot thank you enough for what was a MASSIVE success. Shoutout to our live artists @godknowsmc @firstclassrebel & @irish_wonders_dublin - each of you wore your heart on your sleeves and gave it serious welly! We love you and what you do. To the selectors on deck throughout the day - @aisenmabeatz_ @pmeeny @niall.coonerty @dariia.su @pressplayrepeat @dj_nullty @vinyl_cornelius - the scope and selection was savage and many heads were boppin' as the public dug through the racks for the music they love. A huge thank you to the @onemorechoon vinyl workshop attendees too - we hope you got your journey off to a spinning start! Steamboat truly is a special spot - free of judgment, of expectation but absolutely BULGING with TUNES! We will all have slight tics and approaches unique to us (tongue out!😂), but the principles remain the same 😊 This was covered with students during For The Record in the Summer and as any committed vinyl DJ knows, it becomes rapidly addictive.
