“What’s it like being deaf in 1 ear?”
When I woke up from my ear tumour operation I didn’t notice the deafness that much, however now I am leaving the house and trying to return to my regular routine, I am really noticing it.
It is affecting most parts of my every day life.
It can make me sad as I am realizing all the things I am missing out on that I experienced before losing my hearing in my right ear.
I am so so grateful that I still have hearing in 1 ear and now I need to adjust to this new norm.
I also have tinnitus which rings even louder after going to busy places and I really struggle to fall asleep as it’s so noisy.
If you are deaf and have any tips or tricks please do share I’d really appreciate it💕
