Hyper-referentiality is the ultimate expression of "girlness", but the production of “girl” as cultural code diffuses the “girl” to an infinite dispersion of ideas. The ensuing search for meaning, leaves the once “girl” in an endless twirl. 𝘚𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘎𝘪𝘳𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 presents a site-specific painting exploring the grief embedded in “girlness”, aging, paint, and skin.

zine/lyric book featuring Piece of Me by the queen Britney Spears.
This zine is the very first multiple I’ve ever made and almost a year in the making. From airbrushing all the pages to hand-writing all the text and many many scans thanks to @abrokeniris she holds a very special place in my heart <3
I also made a custom chain with sourced and second hand charms :):) The zine cover is on laminate cardstock and inside is laminate photo paper and is 8.5” x 6.5” closed.

We are pleased to present to you Oscillation Channel, on view April 3rd - 9th, opening April 3rd at 6 pm @shesaidgallery
With Oscillation Channel the work remains caught in a state of creation between self and external forces, in which Parker Lily and Olivia Aguiar complicate their fantasies of corporeal-definition and consumption. Mediums act as tools for transformation, translating psycho-somatic experience into image.
