@revive_this X @nousklaer_audio 🩶 This amazing compilation consists of artists who used very old Dutch only hardware to create each individual masterpiece. @greg_ghey Really lets you go crazy in his amazing museum ‘esque studio at @beeldgeluid and lets you do your very own thing, thank you so much for that 🧿. Honestly, my track “Mara” is one of my fav tracks i probably ever made, everything i made is recorded in this very studio, i recorded over an hour but have picked a very specific, eerie, dungeon vibes part out of it and a slight use of vocals with Greg’s amazing distortion pedals i created a weird chorus thing. Even the kicks, drum loop, every tiny bit comes out of a weird but amazing box or synth. 🥹❤️ Get your tapes before they sell out, digital platforms will follow later ☺️🩶 Cover art @studiootherwise

Summoning the Southern God of Screwgaze Techno: Okitap [LIVE] + Surprise Act @okitap_ is a Dutch-Turkish artist who started early in the game in the “Witch House” scene under the alias Atilla the Hvn. He has evolved into an artist more rooted and personal than ever, presenting future nostalgia by embracing the occult goth, early Japanese video game scores, and lo-fi slug techno. His works carry an obscure atmosphere still mystified by symbolism. As Okitap, he is fully equipped for a live performance, including distorted Turkish vocals, and is known for pushing the boundaries of contemporary club music. His sound blends raw industrial textures, experimental electronics, and hypnotic rhythms, creating a dark yet immersive sonic landscape that resists easy categorization. For this show at Burst City, Okitap is inviting a special act that fronts three of the most heavy, soul-crushing bands in the Netherlands. He is a humble power quietly working in the scene, but also, as a DJ, he is heavy in rotation in the alt-electronic world, not to mention his electrifying band performances at Roadburn Festival are ones to remember. In a whirlwind of sounds, Brume centers around purpose and intent, combining past, present and future in an all-encompassing experience. Brume stage will be a reprieve from the fast-paced. A place to listen, smell and see. Under guidance of artists that pioneer the ambient spectrum, you will find a different meaning of highs. With the help of specialized scent diffusers, Brume will explore light and dark. In the afternoon, a scent of fresh linnen and cotton will gently touch the nose. At night, a cave-like petrichor enters the soft space as the sounds echo through the hall.

I had 1 month, the show was 1 hour long, and i was asked to make music for the whole show in 1 track, with all the dance choreo cue’s, transitions and everything in one. Well, here we are 🩶🧿 What a crazy experience this was, it was something special to witness all the insane training sessions with the performers (they are so strong lol). Seeing my music lock in, day by day, working untill midnight because i was extremely hooked with some tracks, if i can achieve this in 1 month, i am getting a bit scared to visualise what it possible in a year. Massive, massive respect to all the amazing performers, the team behind it all @particles.dance You guys are amazing, and i truly feel blessed with providing the full show performance, we were perfectly in sync, mentally and physically 🩶🧿 So much love, Okitap 🦾
