@daikokunyc created one of the best car culture moments of my life- and I’ve only been there once.
There’s something special about a night in New York City, but if you add builds from all over the area, people that promote positivity yet shut down whack behavior, the community can flourish.
We’re in an interesting time in car culture where it’s hard to disconnect from social media posts but here, I found that it was hard to pull my camera out. Instead, I found myself just enjoying the atmosphere, surrounded by great conversations and open arms.
Stan took Daikoku’s special feeling and created his own in one of the busiest cities in the world. For people that don’t have the opportunity to fly to Japan and experience Daikoku PA- the experience is here.
It’s a place that truly feels magical and I can’t wait to rejoin you all again. See you at AAPI.

On My Way is a cinematic short film set in New York City, following two individuals navigating the chaos of their daily commute to meet for a photoshoot. Along the way, unexpected obstacles force them to adapt, reflecting the unpredictability of city life.
This film is a personal reflection of my journey as a photographer in NYC- capturing the spontaneity of shoots, blurred priorities, and the reality of creating in a fast-paced environment. Inspired by Perfect Days, Black Mirror, and Love, Death & Robots, it explores modern communication, social media, and how our generation defines urgency and connection.
Shot with LUMIX, this project proves that powerful storytelling can come from a compact system. The LUMIX S9 played a key role in bringing this vision to life.

Spring is my second favorite season in the North East. Specially for the car world.
This winter has been unholy and you can feel everyone just screaming to be out on summer tires.
With the unreliable weather, it’s been a herky jerky start but between the shows and the drives and meeting all the best people out on the road again.
We have such a rich and varied tapestry of car communities around the nyc area. We have our quibbles and our persnickities but in the end we all have something common as a basis. The metal. The art. The people. The roads.
