The independent commerce platform built for fine wine. — Late last year, we rolled out our upgraded platform, Offset Commerce, shaped by 16 years of collaboration with wine’s cultural and business leaders. Since then, we’ve migrated nearly all our 250+ clients, welcomed incredible new wineries and retailers, and accelerated our feature development to continue meeting the needs of our sophisticated clientele. Given the recent acquisitions and consolidation in the wine commerce landscape, we’re more proud than ever to be an independent company. Our commitment to independence allows us to double down on the segments of the industry that fortuitously are full of our favorite wineries, wines, and people–and to continue building features and workflows that embrace wine’s nuances. Offset Commerce is built on long-term relationships. — Thirteen years ago, before we developed our commerce platform, Offset’s @tysoncaly and @byronjhoffman collaborated on a website for Araujo Estate. This early collaboration planted the seed for a deeper integration of tech and design, and ultimately led to the merging of their respective companies a few years later. When Bart and Daphne Araujo sold their namesake estate and started Accendo Cellars, we continued our collaboration by designing and building them a new website, with their allocations proudly handled by our then-nascent commerce platform. Accendo Cellars, now Accendo “Estate”, is owned by winegrowers, Jack Bittner, Paul Goldbert, and Giancarlo Bettinelli—an ownership transfer rooted in its own long-term relationship, as growers for Accendo Cellars.  Today, we’re proud to continue our partnership with @accendoestate through an updated @offsetbrandstudio website powered by @offsetcommerce . Long-term partnerships with brands (and more importantly, good people) are at the core of what we do, and give our work meaning day to day. Founded in 2003, ACME is a beloved institution and one of the great ambassadors and evangelizers for American wine (and so many of our clients!). Their sustained success stems from lasting bonds with loyal customers and winemakers who know and trust ACME will introduce their brand with thoughtfulness and care. When ACME approached us, they struggled with a legacy e-commerce platform that necessitated a large administrative and sales team dedicating countless hours to manual entry across platforms that were not integrated. For ACME, the upshot of all this was frustration, hesitation to grow, and never enough time in the day to put a dent in the mountain of tasks each order, subscription, or allocation required.
