Album Release ce 8 avril à la @jazzstationbruxelles avec Jõao Lobo "Nahang" 🥁
« Nahang » signifie « baleine » et fait à la fois référence à un son récurrent dans l'album et à la signification plus profonde que revêt cet animal pour notre planète. Le groupe s'appuie sur le trio de l'album précédent de Lobo, « Simorgh », composé de Norberto Lobo et Soet Kempeneer, auquel s'ajoute la voix de Lynn Cassiers. Ce groupe explore un son électrique, à faible volume mais à haute intensité, à travers des compositions originales. La musique recherche l'équilibre entre mouvement et immobilité, avec de longs grooves répétitifs et des paysages sonores qui servent de toile de fond à d'autres interventions (paroles, mélodies, improvisations). Les paroles s'inspirent notamment de « All About Love » de bell hooks, ainsi que d'événements réels qui illustrent l'incapacité collective des êtres humains à aimer (eux-mêmes, les autres humains et les autres êtres vivants)
