A Stylized Resistance Salon was intimate and intentional. Food, beauty, Black thought, and a room full of people who know that culture is something you practice and preserve.
Held through Virginia’s curation and Chef Chi’s amazing four-course dinner, the evening gave us something to sit with, savor, and carry.
Thank you to our community for showing up and making room for the kind of conversations our people have always needed space to have.
Cure was created for this. Not just nails, but gathering.

Started Taurus season surrounded by beautiful things.
This year has shown me that rest matters. Being loved properly changes your pace. Standing on business is a daily practice. Building community is still one of the most sacred parts of my life—especially at @curenailhouse .
This next year is about more depth, more discipline, and more alignment.
If we haven’t connected and we should, tap in.
Last night we brought community together in collaboration with @vacumberbatch and “A Stylized Resistance” for an intimate community dinner salon to explore resistance and reclamation.
We can’t wait to share the full story with y’all.
In the meantime, here’s a taste.

The Interlude
The ritual of self expression through nails was a rite of passage for me. As a child, I would wake up and go to the salon with my mother. It was bonding, but also an initiation into a world where women adorned themselves boldly and unapologetically. To me, that ritual was sacred. That’s why I knew I had to partner with @brizofaucet for their Litze collection.
When I imagined The Interlude, I thought about those moments and about the cycle of adornment from the removal, the cleansing, and the preparation for what comes next. I wanted to honor that pause and create a moment to breathe, to reset, and perhaps even to connect with the person beside you.
This is where the ritual finds its stillness in a moment of reflection. I partnered with @brizofaucet to bring in the Litze wall-mounted lavatory fixtures in Brilliance Luxe Gold, which add a modern and sculptural touch to a space intentionally designed by my design partner, Tiffany for presence.
The Interlude is our quiet rebellion against the rush.
Creative Class 2026’ for @theccnyc .
Proud of this one. Honored to be selected among so many incredible creatives and entrepreneurs.
Thank you @theccnyc for the feature, and for continuing to celebrate Black creatives and our contributions to the culture.

This house was built with intention, from the design to the experience. Cure is for nails, fly-ass artists, and the ones who actually get it.
Take it in. There’s plenty to see.

After three months since opening our doors, I can finally sit in the fact that Cure Nailhouse is real.
It has been almost 8 years of visioning, building, breaking, rebuilding, and believing. My faith was tested every step of the way, but God and my village carried me through every single moment.
My life has completely changed. I’ve stepped into something larger than me, and there’s no turning back.
This is the hardest I have ever worked in my life. I’ve been grinding for years but this is a new level. It has stretched me in every possible direction. It has been exhausting yet exciting, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I’m following the fuck out of my dreams.
To my community, thank you for your trust, your presence, your reposts, your commissions, your words of affirmation, and your belief in this wild, layered, meticulous vision. You have carried me through the overwhelm and the unknown.
Shoutout to my family for holding me down, and to my team for keeping the Cure standard tight. Tiffany, your eye shaped the space in ways only you could. Thanks to @ahniyahgold for making sure the right people are watching.
I did this for us. Now let’s keep going.
I’ve been behind the scenes producing narratives and visuals for years, but building @curenailhouse is different. Now I’m the brand, the client, and the creative all at once.
Every detail runs through me and every decision has my stamp. I’m not behind the scenes anymore.
The storyteller is the story.
Ain’t I a woman?
This month was affirming. I felt my womanhood celebrated in ways that were tender, powerful, and deeply intentional.
I shared space on a panel at @blacktechsaturdays , alongside forces like @kesswa and @beatbymo , where I spoke about what it means to build @curenailhouse from the ground up—and to lead as a woman, a founder, and an artist rooted in community.
I exhibited work in FEMALE GAZE at @playdetroit —a group show that honored the complexity of how women see and are seen. My piece, 𝘖𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘱𝘵, serves as an introduction to my lens—a perspective shaped by my deep curiosity about beauty, identity, and self-expression. I layered elements of nail sculpture and photography to construct an altered reality that bends the familiar into something more surreal.
Special thanks to @jasmine_jeanine for being my muse and to @igobycy for letting me explore in your studio.
And somewhere in between, I stepped in front of the camera for a portrait series celebrating women founders, creative directed by @micahshumake .
When a woman moves with truth on her tongue and vision in her hands, there’s nothing she can’t build.
March is for the girls who do it all—the vision holders, the culture shapers, the ones who make it look easy (even when it’s not). Women’s History Month hits different when you’re building something this sacred with women who just get it.
Every part of this brand, from the textures to the tone of voice, has been chosen with intention. For me, leadership means setting the vision and being meticulous about the details. It’s about being so clear in your values that they show up in everything people see, touch, and feel. That’s the kind of presence I’m building—one that leaves nothing to chance.
This is what happens when Black women are resourced and respected.
We don’t miss.
Shoutout to this team of talented women helping me bring this vision to life: @mayayavahn , @kesswa , @breannwhite , @tiffanylthompson , and @buzzcutmo .
Thank you for pouring your gifts into @curenailhouse with me.
