The inspiration for O’DONNELLS new Hot Honey Fusion flavour came from Dec’s Hot Honey of Rivesci Co Tipperary. Declan Malone is a Michelin star trained chef and he and his wife Shannon own Rivesci in Clonmel, Co Tipperary.
This was the first time we showed them the finished product in the new packaging. It was emotional 🥹 ❤️ and a big moment for all of us. As Shannon said “We rise by lifting others”.
The Hot Honey Fusion Flavour will be available in 44g and 125g bags.

I had such fun recently developing these recipes for O’Donnells Crisps 🥔 – a delicious way to elevate any snack, picnic or summer gathering 🌿☀️ I’m so pleased with how they turned out, and I hope you enjoy trying them too!
🥗 Irish Artisan Farm Salad with O’Donnells Hot Honey Fusion Crisps
Serves 4
For the dressing:
🫒 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
🍇 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
🍯 1–2 tsp honey
🥄 ½ tsp Dijon mustard
🧂 Sea salt & freshly ground black pepper
For the salad:
🧈 10g butter
🥓 250g free-range smoked ham, cooked & cut into lardons
🥬 4 handfuls mixed salad leaves
🧀 120g blue cheese, broken into chunks
🔥 4 small handfuls O’Donnells Hot Honey Fusion Crisps
Mix or shake the dressing ingredients in a jar and season to taste.
Fry the ham lardons in the butter until golden and crisp.
Toss the salad leaves with a little dressing, then scatter over the cheese, hot ham, and finish with a generous handful of crisps for crunch and heat.
🐟 Smoked Salmon with O’Donnells Sea Salt Crisps, Horseradish & Red Onion
Per portion:
🐟 3 slices smoked salmon
🥔 3 large O’Donnells Sea Salt Crisps
🌶 2 tsp horseradish sauce
🧅 A few thin slices red onion
🌱 Chopped chives
Layer each crisp with horseradish, salmon, another little dollop of horseradish, and a few slices of red onion. Garnish with chopped chives for a zingy, crunchy bite.
🧀 O’Donnells Mature Cheese & Red Onion Crisp Canapés
Per piece:
🥔 1 bite-size O’Donnells Mature Cheese & Red Onion Crisp
🥄 ½ tsp crème fraîche
🍖 A sliver of Parma ham
🍈 A touch of caviar or a piece of ripe melon
🌿 A small mint or basil leaf
Top each crisp with crème fraîche, Parma ham, and either a pop of caviar or sweet melon. Garnish with a fresh herb leaf for a canapé that’s both fun and fancy.
