My Deluge is on it's way to New Zealand to get repaired, and I hadn't really focused on just the Easel in quite some time. Got inspired to 2-track techno straight out the Buchla (kick is technically the Voyager).
Already looking for ways to make these a bit more complex within the confines of the Easel's limited real estate, but I kinda like my techno super sparse.
Currently en route to play @danteshifi with my brother @forfuturessake and Stephen Flynn. Definitely been looking forward to this date on the calendar. Bags are packed with tunes I haven't played out yet, with an extra healthy dose of acid house jammies.

Tomorrow (Thursday 2/26), I'll be laying down some goodies on the @danteshifi turntables alongside @paulraffaele & @barbiebertisch (aka Love Injection). I truly admire and respect this amazing couple who have always remained gracious and thoughtful despite the strange industry of entertainment we are involved in.
Nature time:
While walking with my pups through the deep woods during the snow melt, I started noticing these bright green patches emerging. Hands were too cold to take decent pics, but one thought I took back to the house each time was how resilient moss is. Not only does moss have ancient survival techniques, in the climate I live in, it grows at a glacial pace. The larger clumps seen here usually take two or more decades to reach this size. I know there is a life lesson or two in here.

Had a young (early 20's) couple sitting next to me on the plane who were on their way to their first taste of Miami. The naïveté was sorta precious, but their outside impression of the city, especially the club scene, although expected and completely warranted, had me concerned.
Shouts to all the djs playing different, throwing alternative parties/events and pushing culture. Sex, drugs, & money don't have to be at the forefront of success.

It's fawn season, a real delicate time of year. Lots of cute, but some heartbreak too. RIP the lil ones that dont make it through the next few months. And RIP my lil bat friend that fought mega hard against all odds.
