Your boy did it again!!! 😁✨️ Earlier this year, I was selected as one of the screenwriters for British Council's FilmLab. I learnt so much and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to grow as a writer. The knowledge and reassurance I received was irreplaceable. I would like to thank @ngbritisharts @britishcouncil @iconicsteps @ebonylifecreativeacademy for facilitating such an amazing first phase of the programme. Special thanks to @mrxavierighorodje and @thegardentheatre for leading the classes, as well as @uwadokauloma for keeping us all on track. I would also like to give great thanks to my script consultant @catherinewilliamslondon who helped me become a better, more confident writer in our short time working together. I know I'm a couple weeks late but here's my 2025 recap 💛

My debut film 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙤𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙧 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠 wraps up 2025 with 10 selections and 2 nominations in just 4 months 🥹 This project was a huge risk but I'm truly grateful for the success it has seen and the doors it has opened for me. Thanks again to everyone who made this project possible, from my amazing cast & crew to my friends and family. Can't wait to show you guys what else this new Director has to offer 💛🫶😁 #staytuned

After attending the 2024 S16 Film Festival, Eguavoen channeled inspiration from what he watched into a deeply personal film. 🎞️ Now screened at eight festivals, including a major acceptance and public screening at Ibadan Indie Film Awards, the short explores Nigerian burial rites, and the subtle tensions between tradition and personal truth. Sooo about a couple weeks ago I shot and directed my first short film after being the Writer, Art Director and Costume Designer.
