May was a month!! Lots of firsts, I was part of @jointhecruise video (I’ll do a blog video on that soon), I pitched my film at Young Lens Film festival @young_lens_film_festival , I started my fashion brand (coming soon) greatly inspired by Anansa @ananse.africa , I started photography internship at STUDIO24, I got to speak as part of the leaders in Syposium @thecatalystmagazine , I got to experience GT food festival @gtbank , I got to attend ‘The TW Entrepreneurship 2030 Agenda' #twagenda2030 where I met the inspirational “mind guy“ @iambankole (I’ll do another breakdown video soon 🤭). Oh I visited @nikeartgallery for the first time and it was mind blowing.
I had a health scare this week(one day I’ll talk about it), and while I was slowly losing my breath one of my consistent thoughts was that I could be be gone and no one will know what I have been trying to say through my art.. so this is me for now.. I feel so much better now that I gotten this out of my chest or head 😁. Still on the grind, more projects in the works.
“SONU (Missing)” Selected for it’s first Nigerian Festival! 🇳🇬 @ailff_
This means the world to me, as it opens up the opportunity for families whose missing loved ones are featured in the film can come and see their stories brought to life on the big screen. It’s my sincere hope that by showcasing “SONU (Missing)” at this festival, we can reach Nigerians who have the power to enact real change when it comes to the pressing issue of missing persons.
This is just the beginning - I’m excited to continue sharing this film at festivals across the country, and ultimately, to have it screened at the prestigious @afriff@af.lagoon
