20 years ago, I started making little films on YouTube.
Didn’t think it would turn into a career.
I just started… and never stopped. Now, I’m a filmmaker who has directed commercials, music videos and documentaries.
I was a shy 12-year-old with a webcam.
Then a point-and-shoot.
Then a borrowed 550D from school.
That was enough.
Making videos for YouTube changed my life.
It helped me find my passion and a platform to share my stories. It connected me to people like me.
And remembering my own story, still pushes me now.
Back then, making videos was accessible, arguably for the first time.
Now it’s even easier and the high end tools are way more accessible

We put on a wholesome evening for this Ramadan. A Filipino Iftar hosted at @bintang_restaurant 🇵🇭. Proud to see Muslims and non-Muslims friends of our Asian creative community come together to break bread (rice).
We were able to raise money for the charity @britishbanglawt , which we’re super proud to be able to support!

We held a photowalk, followed by a panel discussion and creative networking at Fujifilm’s House of Photography London. We had amazing brands @hollyland.eu , @tilta_eu & @nanlite_uk come do product demonstrations of their film & video gear as well as vendors such as @britishbanglawt , @estenibakes & @mahalkostudio !
The panel discussion I was genuinely chuffed about. Being able to bring down my inspiring creative friends @yonickvelasco , @mrwhisper , @kreativeshots_ & @kidcircus come down and share their creative journey and spark some inspiration into others was really wholesome.
I honestly was gassed about the turn out and appreciate everyone who came through and shown their support!
Yesterday, @occasiansldn and @litcreativecrew teamed up with @fujifilmuk for an incredible collab event — massive big ups to @rayroberts for pulling it all together!
We kicked off with a photowalk, followed by some networking, and wrapped up with a panel I was honoured to join alongside the super-talented and inspiring @mrwhisper , @kreativeshots_ , and @kidcircus .
