Domestic Disco Artist Highlight: Leonard Bessemer
Leonard Bessemer of Objects for Objects has two works in Domestic Disco: the polished stainless steel Wave Bench (which doubles, perhaps unintentionally but beautifully as a percussion instrument), and the Landlord Shelf—a polished aluminum wall shelf where the mounting holes aren’t hidden, they’re celebrated. The name nods to the patchwork your landlord might face if you use all eight. It looks good with something on it. It looks good with nothing on it.
Domestic Disco is on view through April 24.
Open Tuesdays, 12–4, and by appointment (link in bio).
The Feel / 4030 N Figueroa Street / LA, CA 90065.
All works are for sale—come catch the light.

Well, Infield was a smash hit success! So proud of @meaghanroddy and her superstar eye in curating such an amazing show of wonderful people in collaboration with @chet___arch and the unbelievably beautiful @cummingsestate for @ladesignweekend . I very much enjoyed watching it all come together and meeting this sweet community artists. And it was a thrill to see my friend @turnhamator ’s work enjoying the pool area and @jonklassen ’s animals hiding in the brush. It was a perfect family of work and a wonderful environment to enjoy it all. Very proud of everyone involved. ❤️❤️❤️
