We've all been there. 😬 That's exactly why NYLaughs curates shows for every taste — because comedy isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither are New Yorkers. From stand-up to music to art, we blend it all into a series of free night outs that literally everyone at the table can enjoy. No awkward silences. Just laughs. šŸŽ¤ šŸ”— Explore our upcoming shows in the link in bio. #datingproblems #memes4ever #comedynight

Creating space for rising voices in comedy At NYLaughs, supporting emerging performers has always been part of the mission. Some of the most exciting voices in comedy are the ones still on the rise—the performers building momentum, developing their craft, and bringing entirely new perspectives to the stage. We’ve been proud to feature artists like @jefflawrencenyc , @alvinirby , @adookie , @callmemsfranklin , @danielsimonsencomic , @emmyblotnick , @jcondon4 , @kenicemobley , and many more as part of NYLaughs programming across New York City. We’ve welcomed these voices before, and we’ll continue creating space for the next generation of standout comedic talent. šŸ’š #comedians #standupcomedy #risingstars

Volunteers NeededšŸŽ¤ NYLaughs is taking over Union Square on Thursday, June 4th, and we need YOU to help make the magic happen. Whether you're a natural crowd-wrangler, a behind-the-scenes hero, or just bring great energy, there's a spot for you on our team. Volunteer duties include everything from crowd management and VIP hospitality to social media coverage, wayfinding, set-up, and being our all-purpose Flex Squad — basically the Swiss Army knife of comedy festivals. Who said museums were just for art? šŸ˜ In 2018, NYLaughs took over The Brooklyn Museum and turned one of NYC's most iconic spaces into a comedy stage. @ophirae headlined the night, @jordancarlosofficial kept the crowd in check as our host, and @neginfarsad and @alicomedy made us laugh — and lowkey reconsider every decision we've ever made. No paintings were harmed. Egos? Maybe. Thank you to our sponsors Arvind & Panagiota Mahendru, StructureTechNY, and Manhattan Mini Storage, our incredible artists, and the Brooklyn Museum staff for making it all possible. šŸ™ Photo credits: Jackie Shi #brooklynmuseum #newyorklife #standupcomedy

šŸ’Across our performances, we’re always reminded that laughter is something people share across generations—and there’s nothing more special than seeing families experience it together. This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the mothers who join us in the audience: the ones who show up, support, and share these moments side by side. Whether it’s a night out, a spontaneous stop in the park, or a tradition in the making, these are the moments that stay with us—connection, joy, and a lot of laughter along the way. To all the mothers in our NYLaughs community, thank you for being part of what makes these gatherings so meaningful. šŸ’š #mothersday #motherhood #livecomedy

A decade ago, we made a declaration — New York deserved a place to breathe, laugh, and just be. So we took that seriously. Laughter in the Park (2014) was one of those times when we turned an unexpected corner of this city into a stage, and it set the tone for everything NYLaughs would become. None of it happens without the talent that shows up for us. Shoutout to @shengwangtime , @harrisoncomedy , @jefflawrencenyc , @carmencomedian , @dlemoncomedy , and @christfinnegan for bringing that energy from day one. šŸ“ø Maria Gindler #outdoorslife #livecomedy #newyorklife
