Hundreds of hours.
Countless iterations.
A perfect bag.
Our mahogany hand-carved bag was born from deep collaboration with local artisans, tested, refined, and tested again until every detail was exactly right.
Finished with our signature coco motif, drawn from our SS25 storytelling of Efe’s Harvest.
An original design, crafted right.
Available to order now.

Circling back to last season and our mahogany hand carved bags.
Experiments with machine made and hand carved. Motifs drawn from Benin bronzes, ancient crafts told our stories.
This was our curiosity made physical. Some things don’t need explaining, this one was all ours.

So grateful to have completed the @lagosxparis accelerator programme. This journey reshaped Nya, strengthening our structure, preparing us to work confidently with partners, and giving me real peace of mind as a founder. It was challenging, rewarding, and deeply transformative.
Being able to break things down and rebuild with intention has been one of the most meaningful parts of this journey. Beyond the work, I’m thankful for the community, the mentors, the friendships, and the growth. Paris was invaluable, and the process leading up to it changed everything.
A huge thank you to Mathilde, Emmanuel, Nelly, Christel, Zara, and everyone else who made this possible. 🤍

Efe’s Harvest is inspired by the quiet beauty and sacred rhythm of tradition.
At noon, the sun poured molten light over everything as Efe walked barefoot through the cool soil gathering ripe cocoa pods. Maroon, amber, and sun-lit green fillied her basket. Beneath the shade of a tree, she cracked one open and tasted its bittersweet flesh.
This, she thought, was the taste of patience. Of care. Of turning one thing into so much more.
This is the heart of Nya SS26.

Introducing SS26 - EFE’S HARVEST
The taste of patience. Of care. Of turning one thing into so much more.
A reflection on time, transformation, and the quiet beauty of things made to last.
We’d like to thank all the artisans who made this possible, who hand dyed, carved, wove and beaded to bring this story to life.

London to Lagos: CQ Studio x Roundabout collaboration brings together CQ Studio with celebrated Nigerian designers Lisa Folawiyo and Nya.
Together, we are reimagining the future of fashion through two one-of-a-kind dresses: modern silhouettes that marry heritage beading with innovative, sustainable materials.
Beading is an ancient craft deeply rooted in African design, and remains a foundation for future-making. Here, it is redefined through the use of local textiles, deadstock fabrics, and bio sequins that dissolve back into the earth, offering a sustainable alternative to plastic. The result is not only a fusion of heritage and innovation, but also a vision of what responsible design can look like. The project was conceptualised by ROUNDABOUT.
ROUNDABOUT nurtures dialogue, tools, and networks that are rooted in sustainable principles across Africa.
A special thanks to @yasminrjh and @thesustainableangle for inviting us to showcase this collaboration!
