Watching them move together, now as newlyweds as well as partners on stage, subtly shifted how Cranko’s Onegin landed for me. The ballet arrived at a moment when its ideas around love’s timing felt touchingly close.” Live now ! I genuinely can’t believe I’m writing this. I still haven’t really processed it. There’s nobody else like you, Jake. Relentlessly creative, I don’t think you ever realised the extent to how much you inspired me, in so many different ways. One of the most loyal people I’ve ever met. 1000% solid and true to your word, your people and your morals. You were so overflowing with creativity and love, I can’t believe I’m never gonna get a call from you again about another crazy idea that I would have forever been down for. You taught me a lot in these past few years, and really helped shape me to become the person I am today. The first time I met you we flew out to Cork, and I remember leaving you and the gang at the airport upon returning to London and literally just sitting and reflecting on the past few days we’d all just spent together and how much genuine loving energy had been flying around for the entire trip. Everyday for you was like this, words can’t describe your passion, and it’s going to be so so heavily missed by so many of us. Love you brother, see you again one day. Pagans 🌲
